DAILY HAMPSHIRE GAZETTE: Jennifer Page: Says Mindy Domb will work for most vulnerable

I enthusiastically support Mindy Domb for state representative in the 3rd Hampshire District.

Through her work at the Amherst Survival Center, Domb has seen firsthand what it’s like to live on the margins in the Amherst area — to have enough to house your family but not enough to feed them, to be scraping by well enough but then get thrown off track by illness or injury, to need a leg up whether through a bag of groceries, a winter coat or help with your job search.

Domb will work for the most vulnerable among us, and as a result we will all be raised up. We need our representative at the Statehouse to be someone who knows what working- and middle-class families need in order to survive and to thrive.

Domb will advocate and fight for policies that help families and individuals make better lives for ourselves, now and in the future, such as universal, free preschool, single-payer health care, and 100 percent renewable energy.

I hope you will join me in voting for Mindy Domb in the Democratic primary Sept. 4.
