Letter: Mary Olberding
Mindy Domb is a fierce advocate dedicated to helping under-served populations in her community, like low-wage workers, victims of abuse and assault, and those facing food insecurity. Currently she runs the Amherst Survival Center, and when the seat for the 3rd Hampshire District opened with the retirement of Rep. Ellen Story, many of us urged her to run to carry on in the tradition of Ellen’s leadership. Mindy’s commitment to her job kept her out of that race. But now, with a new opportunity to fill that seat, there is no shortage of supporters excited for her run.
The same commitment she has shown in her advocacy work makes her perfectly suited to bring her dedication and hard work to represent Western Mass in the State Legislature. I strongly urge you to vote for Mindy Domb on September 4th for the 3rd Hampshire District of Amherst, Pelham and Granby.
